How come it is only North Americans that don't see these things as food?

It could go either way on the wine. Rabbit is pretty close to game foul. I'm partial to a red with anything gamey. Although, given carte blance, my first choice would be a huge stein of stout.

...oh, stout before dinner would be nice. We can hang out in the kitchen drinking beer while Michelle comforts Trish that dinner was a rabbit, and shouldn't be thought of as a cute, cuddly, big eyed bunny wunny.
