Montréal just finished paying for the stadium that was built for the 1976 Olympics.
What really kills me is VANOC, the provincial government, and the federal government are all producing marketing twaddle that talks about the "unprecidented opportunity for Canadian businesses to get on the world stage" -- somehow the Expo '67 (Montréal), the 1976 Summer Olympics (also Montréal), the Expo '86 (Vancouver), and the 1988 Winter Olympics (Calgary) aren't precedents...
