mbarrickI just got off the phone with Jason Proctor from CBC Radio One. Expect to hear me on the news at 4:30 or 5:30 today.
I hope he doesn't use too much of a sound bite. From having been interviewed on the CBC before, I don't much the way I sound on the radio.

Date: 2010-02-09 09:52 pm (UTC)Someone was telling me they couldn't believe that a journalist wouldn't know who pedobear is and I had to agree, though I remember the first time I showed pedobear to my wife and explained its significance. She was dumbstruck. I guess it's like saying that cake symbolizes pedo. Hard to make the connection if you're not aware of the meme.
I also agree with you that the other mascots look oddly similar. They could all be related.
